Metatissue at MPS World Summit in Berlin
Metatissue was proud to participate as an exhibitor at the 2nd Microphysiological Systems World Summit, held in Berlin from June 26th to June 30th. The event, organized by the Johns Hopkins Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing (CAAT) and EUROoCS, saw over 1300 participants from 39 countries, including 176 speakers and 549 posters.
As one of the exhibitors, Metatissue had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of attendees and explore potential collaboration opportunities. Additionally, we were thrilled to showcase a poster by PhD student Cátia Monteiro from the COMPASS Research Group. The poster, titled “A tumor-on-a-chip incorporating human-based hydrogels for easy assessment of tumor invasion and metastasis”, was well-received by conference-goers.
Overall, the MPS World Summit proved to be an excellent platform for advancing the field of macro-physiological systems and exploring future partnerships. We look forward to participating in similar events in the future and continuing to push the boundaries of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
