InterLynk consortium meets in Trieste to set course for final year of project

Evaluating progress and improving tactics in the final phase of the project

On January 18 and 19, 2024, InterLynk’s 6th Annual General Meeting brought together the project’s multidisciplinary team in a hybrid format at the DoubleTree in Trieste, Italy, for an intensive assessment of progress and strategic alignment over the past year. Although the weather proved to be stormy and challenging, the project said in a press release about the meeting that the team was “unshaken”, in a lively atmosphere where ideas flowed freely and collaborations became stronger as the meeting progressed.

The assembly began with a presentation by Porf. João Mano, InterLynk’s Coordinator, who outlined the priority goals for the project’s final year, setting out the agenda for the two days of the meeting.

Among the initiatives highlighted, Promoscience presented a prototype educational video game, due to be launched soon on the InterLynk website. Participants had the opportunity to try out the game and provide feedback, helping to perfect a tool that aims to support the public’s scientific understanding. You can try it at: http://game.interlynk-h2020.eu/.

The event ended with preparations for the next General Assembly, scheduled for July 2024 in Berlin, where the final stages of InterLynk were outlined, projected to culminate six months later. As the project draws to a close, this next meeting is particularly important for defining the steps that will ensure the initial objectives are achieved.
